The undisputed star of filling injections, hyaluronic acid has become the benchmark molecule for treating skin aging. Whether in a doctor's surgery or in dermocosmetics, it works wonders on your skin!
Discovered by scientists in 1934, hyaluronic acid is now recognized for its exceptional anti-aging properties. Its success is due to its many properties:
Together with collagen and elastin fibers, hyaluronic acid forms a substance capable of maintaining tissue architecture. Like a molecular "sponge", it has hygroscopic properties, retaining water and providing the skin with the moisture it needs.
In addition to its hygroscopic qualities, hyaluronic acid is recognized for its powerful viscoelastic properties. It forms a kind of "mattress" that ensures the skin's suppleness and elasticity to prevent the appearance of wrinkles. A genuine "plumping" agent, hyaluronic acid smoothes the skin and gives it beautiful volume.
Hyaluronic acid also has a preventive role to play thanks to its antioxidant action: it reduces the skin's inflammation process, which is one of the causes of aging.
To find out more, read our article on inflamm'aging.
Hyaluronic acid stimulates cell proliferation. As a result, it improves skin healing.
Hyaluronic acid is a component naturally present in biological tissues: it is the main glycosaminoglycan (GAG) making up the extracellular matrix (in other words, the dermis) that supports the skin's structure.
DID YOU KNOW ?
The skin contains over 50% of the human body's hyaluronic acid.
It plays a role in skin hydration, elasticity and tone: it acts as a water reservoir, helping to maintain elasticity, tissue hydrodynamics and cell proliferation.
Over time, the hyaluronic acid naturally present in the skin loses both quality and quantity: it is damaged by exposure to free radicals (sunlight, pollution, etc.) and its quantity diminishes with the weakening of cellular processes linked to intrinsic aging.
During the menopause, progesterone and estrogen levels fall, and hyaluronic acid levels in the dermis drop dramatically. By the age of 50, hyaluronic acid levels are halved, accelerating the drying out of the skin.
The consequences can be numerous: loss of density, appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks, slowing of the healing process, severe dryness, dermal atrophy...
We recommend the use of dermocosmetic skin care products with high hyaluronic acid content, to make up for lack of moisture and/or boost the natural production of hyaluronic acid, for softer, smoother skin.
The answer is YES! Provided you use the right form of hyaluronic acid. The molecule can be used in different ways: high or low molecular weight.
In cosmetics, hyaluronic acid is mainly used in its high molecular weight. Ideally, both forms of hyaluronic acid should be combined for long-term regenerative action.
It has moisturizing and plumping properties. It acts on the surface of the epidermis, as its "too large" size prevents it from penetrating the stratum corneum. It forms a protective film by creating an invisible mesh to slow down water loss. This prevents the skin from drying out.
It also acts as a reservoir, diffusing water into the superficial epidermis to hydrate it.
Finally, it acts as a shield against oxidation caused by UV rays and pollution.
PROVEN RESULTS :
+110% hydration after 1h (1%)
+21,6% elasticity after 4 weeks of use (1%)
Reduced dehydration wrinkles as early as 1H
Thanks to high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, skin is smoothed and plumped.
It has more powerful anti-aging properties. It penetrates to the dermo-epidermal junction, where collagen and elastin fibers are found.
It retains water molecules to maintain the skin's moisture levels, boosts the production of fibroblasts responsible for collagen production, and strengthens skin tissue.
It also fights inflamm'aging and oxidative stress by boosting cells' UV resistance.
Thanks to low-molecular hyaluronic acid, skin is firmer and plumper.
-16% reduction in wrinkle depth
+8% skin barrier reinforcement in 60 days
Laboratoire ENEOMEY has developed 3 dermocosmetics based on high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid to meet your skin's needs.
Our REJUV densifying program combines high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid with 2 complexes: IA Control and Time Cell for optimal results.
REJUV ELIXIUM anti-aging plumping serum reactivates the skin's biomechanical properties to improve elasticity and tone. It has a lifting and filling effect on wrinkles, and smoothes and moisturizes the skin for an overall anti-aging effect.
REJUV SILK redensifying cream reinforces skin density, elasticity and firmness. This soft, silky cream redensifies your skin, providing comfort and moisture every day.
Combined, this duo offers a cosmetology of comfort and sensoriality to make you feel infinitely comfortable in your skin.
In just 15 minutes, HYALURONIC MASQUE biocellulose mask, formulated with 95% ingredients of natural origin, regenerates the superficial layers of the epidermis and moisturizes the skin for an immediate fresh, soothing effect.
HYALURONIC MASQUE offers unrivalled comfort of application. A real technological feat, the diameter of ENEOMEY biocellulose fibers is smaller than the diameter of skin wrinkles. What's more, new slits on the side of the eye opening enable it to adapt precisely to the shape of your face. So it's the perfect fit for every body type.
This perfect occlusion ensures optimal diffusion and penetration of active ingredients into the heart of your skin in just 15 minutes
